Description
Colt Model 1877 Lightning double action revolver. Caliber 38 Long Colt. Innovative double action mechanism was designed as a successor to the famous 1873 Single Action. These revolvers were favored by famed outlaws Billy the Kid and John Wesley Hardin. Revolver is in good vintage condition. Finish is well worn with nice age patina on metal. Factory bakelite rampant horse grips are worn and cracked with large piece missing from left side. Excellent Western collector item. See photos.
