Description
Robert Prowse (1858-1933) was an illustrator for many dime novel publications. This original watercolor on illustration board from, “Bandits of the Black Hills” features Buffalo Bill Cody in a fight with his hands around a man’s throat. Signed RP 12 lower left. Condition VG with an old horizontal fold which does not detract from the image. Currently matted. Image measures approx 9″ wide, 8″ tall.
