Description
With antler grips, this double action, .38 caliber revolver features a 6-shot cylinder and a standard 6-inch barrel. It has all the correct military markings to include the inspectors initials “R.A.C.” inscribed on the frame below the hammer. The inscription “U.S. ARMY MODEL 1903” and serial number “200 244” are inscribed on the butt of the frame. The particular revolver was manufactured in 1903. The barrel displays the markings “COLT D.A. 38” and “COLT PT F.A MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A / PATENTED AUG 5. 1884 NOV.6.88. MAR.5.95”. All mental parts exhibit the factory finish and shows minor handling and storage marks. The bore is clean and the rifling groves are prominent. The action and trigger are smooth and tight.
