Description
This impressive modern Crow style headdress, meticulously crafted by Bill and Kathy Brewer of Greenville, Illinois, is a historically informed reproduction of Native American regalia, renowned for its accuracy and attention to detail. The Brewers’ work is highly regarded, with their pieces found in museums, film productions, and private collections. The headdress features a vibrant array of glass trade seed beads, horns, raptor feathers, and fur (ermine). Internally the headdress is constructed with a piece of heavy envelope par flesh providing robust support for the horns. The entire headdress is hand stitched using sinew and all materials used are older contributing to its authentic and aged appearance. Condition is very good. Dimensions of the headdress: 9” wide x 15” deep x 41” long from top to bottom. It is displayed on a single foot stand that measures 59” tall. Please see photos.
