Description
This four-color polychrome pot was made at Acoma Pueblo, NM, and attributed to the 1950s. It is a two parrot design with colors and imagery typical of pottery from Acoma. The colors featured are orange, black, dark red, and white background. At the base it is signed “D. Davis Acoma” with a pictogram beside it. Condition is very good, with no damage visible. Dimensions: 11” at widest, 6.5” diameter rim, 8.25” tall and base diameter approximately 3.5”. Please see photos.
