Description
Pima basket circa 1920. Finally coiled shallow bowl showcases masterful artistry. Woven from natural plant fibers, likely willow or devil’s claw, it has a warm brown hue with dark contrasting fibers forming geometric patterns radiating from the center. The dark tightly finished rim highlights skilled craftsmanship. Condition good, with little to no loss of weave, commensurate with age. Dimensions: 15” diameter, 4” tall, approximately 5” base diameter. See photos.
