Description
This is a wonderfully unique and sculptural console table, likely European from the late 19th or early 20th century. The base is a captivating figural scene, featuring a winged cherub, with outstretched arms supporting the marble top. The piece is further embellished with painted cattails and foliage, adding a touch of naturalism. The base cast in bronze features a rich, dark patina and rests on a heavy, circular marble pedestal, matching the top. The table is in very good condition for its age, with minor wear to the patina and some small chips on the painted elements; the marble appears free of major chips or cracks. Measures 35.75″ tall, with the top measuring approximately 28″ wide and 16.5″ deep.
