Description
All wood 3/4 size replica stagecoach built in1990 by, John “Stagecoach John” Haizeruk of Springfield, IL. This was one of, if not the last, built by John who passed away in 1998. This coach has a mahogany wood coach body which has been stained and varnished. Like the original coaches, it is slung from leather straps. The interior is black Naugahyde and seats 6 persons with 2 seats in the driver position. The running gear seems to be either oak or ash and the wheels hickory with rubber tires. Front wheels measure 42″ tall, rear wheels 53″ tall. Original style friction brake on rear wheels controlled from drivers seat. All metal hardware has been painted black. This coach has been indoors its entire life and is in excellent condition. It will make a great display piece or parade vehicle. Overall measures 99″ tall to the top of the luggage tie down rail, 76″ wide to the outside of the wheels, and about 160″ long. NOTE: Pickup/transport required. Contacts available post auction.
