Has a spring mounted gold hammer tone finish chassis. “Wavemagnet” internal antenna can be rotated for peak reception. Features a black dial, a green tuning eye, a Zenith weighted flywheel, and a large tuning dial. Standard broadcast (AM) and short wave bands are all restored to original condition. Has a new period speaker cloth.
This cabinet is a classic design with amazing walnut veneers and quilted maple inlays. It has been beautifully refinished with satin lacquer.
The chassis is in excellent condition and with nine tubes, it receives the Broadcast band (550 to 1700 KC) and Short Wave in two bands from 1.7 to 18 MC.
It has a input jack on the chassis so you can connect your iPod, phone, LP , CD , electric guitar or other audio source. Features organ style tone and station buttons.
Cabinet measures 28.5″ W x 41.5″ H x 15.8″ D. It weighs 55 pounds. NOTE: Pickup/transport required. Contacts available post auction.
