Description
A large and impressive late 19th-century cast iron coffee grinder, the “Elgin National Coffee Mill,” made by the Woodruff & Edwards Co. of Elgin, Illinois. This is a quintessential American country store fixture, featuring a desirable double-wheel design and its original eagle finial atop the hopper lid. This mill is an older restoration, professionally repainted in a vibrant red with gold-highlighted lettering, and it makes a fantastic decorative statement. The cast iron is in excellent condition with no visible cracks or repairs. Measures 31″ tall, 12″ wide with 18″ diameter wheels.
