October Fall Classic
Lot 2083:
Description
We will connect you with reputable transport companies after the auction. A charming and early 1930s mechanical countertop game known as “Silver Runway.” This is a classic game, where the player shoots a ball onto the bi-colored playfield to score points. The game is housed in a handsome wooden cabinet and has a simple, folk-art-like appeal. The wood cabinet is in good, as-found condition with a worn original finish, showing numerous scuffs and scratches. The painted playfield shows significant paint wear, fading, and chipping from years of play. Its working condition is unknown and it is being offered as-is. Missing glass. Dimensions are 16″ wide x 24″ deep and 7″ tall in front and 9″ tall at back.
Circa 1940’s cast aluminum carousel horse most likely from a San Antonio Roller Works or a Mangles carousel. All we know is that it came off of a carousel that was parted out in southern Illinois in the 1970’s. The horse is a jumper with very nice paint. Comes mounted on a pole and a steel diamond plate base. Comes with a pair of stirrups but no straps or bridle.
