Description

A wonderful and early piece of amusement history, this is a 1933 mechanical “pin game” by Bally Manufacturing Company. This pre-flipper machine depicts the “Polo Grounds” of New York City with its distinctive horseshoe shaped grandstands. Transitioning from Polo playing to Baseball and Football, this iconic sports venue is celebrated in this depression era game. The machine is in as-found, project condition. The black painted finish on the cabinet and its original wooden legs is heavily worn, with numerous scuffs and scratches. The playfield graphics are strong, and the coin drawer is missing. Its full working condition is unknown, but it does feed, and play when briefly tested. It is being offered as-is. Dimensions are 36” long, 16” wide and 9.5” tall in front and 12” in back. Removable legs are 36” long. The race for “The Pennant” in baseball is always an exciting one. Bring that excitement to your home. Please see photos.
Circa 1940’s cast aluminum carousel horse most likely from a San Antonio Roller Works or a Mangles carousel. All we know is that it came off of a carousel that was parted out in southern Illinois in the 1970’s. The horse is a jumper with very nice paint. Comes mounted on a pole and a steel diamond plate base. Comes with a pair of stirrups but no straps or bridle.
