Description
This is a classic example of a hand-carved wooden carousel horse produced by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. This is a full-size outside row stander horse with a jeweled show side. All the paint has been stripped off and a stain applied to the wood. all the wood is in VG condition. Horse has both glass eyes, open mouth, raised head, flowing mane, and the brass PTC badge on the halter for PTC No. 193 Row 1. Both stirrups and straps are present but no reins. VG carved tail. Pole hole but no pole or stand included. Beautiful as is but would be magnificent repainted. Measures 60″ long,65″ tall, 12″wide. NOTE: Pickup/transport required. Contacts available post auction.
