Description
1885 “Speaking Dog” Shepard Hardware “Red Dress” version mechanical bank. More desired and harder to find “Red Dress” version featuring blonde haired girl wearing a red dress siting on a bench petting a retriever (possibly a Chesapeake Bay Retriever) like dog with a coarse brown coat accented with a gold collar and frosted chest and ears. Girls hand and dogs mouth and tail articulate when lever is depressed. Appears to be original and in good to very good overall condition with paint loss and discoloration; key is missing and is approximately 7″t x 3″ x 8″.
