Description
A beautiful and highly detailed painting executed in the traditional Indian Mughal-Rajput style. The vibrant, jewel-toned scene depicts a noble nighttime procession through a lush garden landscape, complete with a lotus pond. The finely rendered figures include a royal personage surrounded by a retinue of female musicians and attendants carrying fans and a parasol. The painting, likely gouache on fine weave cotton textile, is rich with intricate details and is a wonderful example of this classic artistic tradition. The artwork appears to be in excellent condition with strong, unfaded colors, and is presented in a museum quality Plexiglas case to protect it from damage and maintain its condition.
