Matched Pair Pure Bred Bull Signs These vintage painted tin signs are a classic piece of agricultural Americana that collectors seek out. Post-1940s era embossed tin (ESST). The message, “PURE BRED BULL Used on This Farm,” was a vital farm advertisement, proudly announcing the quality of the breeding stock to the local community. These signs are notable for their highly legible and aggressive color scheme of bright yellow lettering on a black painted metal background. This lot includes two identical signs, presenting a desirable matched pair. Condition of one is consistent with prolonged outdoor use, whereas the other example is new and unused.
