Description
Embossed metal sign for Royal Insurance of London circa late 1800’s.. This sign was mounted outside of a building and used as a “fire mark” which alerted responding fire companies whether or not to put out the blaze. If your insurance company was not sponsoring your local fire company, no water. In good condition with a few extra drilled mounting holes. Measures 12″ tall, 9″ wide.
