Description

This exceptional offering consists of an M44 "Dot 44" (Erbsenmuster) camouflage tunic and matching trousers, a pattern famously introduced in 1944 to standardize Waffen-SS uniforms. The set is constructed from a rugged herringbone twill (HBT) and features the characteristic five-color "pea" pattern. The tunic displays a zig-zag stitched sleeve eagle on the left arm, while the interior reveals a clean, tan-colored lining with clear "Betr. Ra." (Betriebs Raun) size markings and "86 92" stamps. The trousers retain their original ties and show consistent HBT construction throughout the waistband and pocket bags. Condition is outstanding, appearing nearly unissued with vibrant colors, no visible UV fluorescence, and a remarkably clean lining showing no significant wear or staining. Tunic: H 27", W 17" armpit to armpit, D 2". Trousers: H 40", W 15", D 1".
