Description
WWII US Military Mark 23 Model 1 Practice bomb(INERT No explosives present). These bombs were used to for training Low altitude level and dive bombing tactics. They were used with a 12ga flash and smoke projectile which was inserted behind the nose with a special firing pin mechanism. This practice bomb is complete with its extremely rare firing pin insert held in by its original safety pin. Perfect display item for military or aircraft fans. See photos.
