Description
RARE! NAVY Arisaka Type 99 7.7 22″ Carbine in very good condition with wear and some oxidation. The bore is very good with some frosting. Receiver has incredibly crude casting from the arsenal showing the lack of finishing quality for the navy rifles, along with no numbering of internal parts Small faint anchor on the chamber hood. Stocks of many of these guns are secured by dowel pins to help hold the pieces together. This one has faint marks of also being held together with staple type fasteners. Great example of a real crude cast Navy Special 99 within the last 1000 made!
