Standard WWII Army Officer Field Sword with a Blue/Brown sword knot-with Surrender Tag! BLADE: Not dated, but circa 1942 with Seki Arsenal Stamp. Signed “Kane Nao” BLADE MARKINGS: Blade in very nice shape with bold Hamon showing multiple peak design all the way to the tip of the blade. HABAKI: WWII brass. GUARD (Tsuba): Standard Army Guard. HANDLE (Tsuka): Appears to be re-wrapped. SCABBARD (Saya): Army metal scabbard with dents. MEASUREMENTS: 40” overall. 26-1/8” blade. Please see photos for overall condition.
