Description
Very rare Kogyo marked last ditch rifle without the Toyo/Tokyo arsenal stamp ( Hiroshima Prefecture ?). It was made without the royal chrysanthemum on the top of the receiver or series mark in front of the serial number. The internal parts do not match the receiver, but it comes with a hard to find dust cover. It has a front sling swivel, but no rear attachment was ever fitted, in addition it has a welded safety; A note attached to the rifle said it’s the second rarest 99 made with less than 1450 made. A very unique rifle with an unusual arsenal mark ! A one-of-kind find.
