Description
Fisk Tires NOS Advertising package. In original carton. Circa 1930’s this grouping includes inserts for tires on display (3 examples fit 14” and 15” tires), as well as banners, posters etc. Although there is pricing written on two pieces, they look to never have been used. Overshadowed by Firestone and Goodyear, Fisk is a brand that was a major player in the tire industry in the 1920’s, competition from other companies like US Rubber and systematic price discrimination led to Fisk Rubber Companies demise. From 121 stores in 1930 to 3 stores in 1934, the company was acquired by US Rubber in 1940. Please see photos. Outer carton measures: 24” x “20” x 1.5”. Posters measure 36” x 18” and 12” x 35.5”.
