Hand painted wooden model of P-38 fighter plane “Putt Putt Maru” of Charles H. “Mac” MacDonald, C.O. 475th Fighter Group. He achieved his 27th Kill on 13 March 1945. The model was presented to him and has an inscription in black sharpie written on the underside of the rear tail wing. It reads: “From the 475th Group sq. 431/432/433 to “Mac” Best Wishes” Overall condition good. Comes with stand, and chronicle of MacDonald’s service history, updated June 2011.
