Souvenir Silk hanky for US Navy ship USS Culgoa. Ship had long career including service with Phillipine Insurrection, Collier to Great White Fleet, and through WWI as Navy supply vessel. Only USS Culgoa in history. Lot also includes original Navy Wireless Telegraph(Radio) message receipt dated 5/28/1918 detailing sinking of German U-boat including position of sinking. Very rare group of interesting Navy items. Hanky is in riker mount and Message is in heavy wooden frame. See photos.
