Description
WW1 German military/police parade bayonet. Samson Werk long blade M98 Mauser bayonet is chrome/nickel plated with imperial proof mark on spine of blade. wood handles are worn but intact. Bayonet comes with gloss black painted sheath for parade use with original leather frog. Bayonet and scabbard appear to be converted from field to parade use with wear and corrosion visible under paint and nickel finish. Very nice WWI and interwar period German bayonet. See photos.
