WW2 German Army Etched Blade Parade Dress Bayonet made by F W Holler Solingen. Clean example of standard WW2 German armed forces parade bayonet with two-piece black checkered grips, nickel plated pommel and up turned cross guard. Polished blade with etched panel on one side of machine gunners, artillery and tank with motto “Fur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” in banner. “F W Holler, Solingen” makers mark on ricasso. Original leather washer present. Break in leather. Blade measures 10”, knife overall 14.75”. Red felt mortice stopper. Housed in its blackened scabbard with bayonet frog loop, one rivet missing. Scabbard in good condition. Scabbard and frog dimensions:15.75” long 2.25” wide. Please see photos.
