Original German WWII Heer Aluminum Belt Buckle Unmarked with Belt
WWII-era Heer aluminum belt buckle. Front features embossed Heer motto, “GOTT MIT UNS” (God With Us) and oakleaf motif, surrounding a National Army eagle, set against a well-preserved pebbled background. None of the original paint is visible on the front, but approx 80% of the field gray paint present on the back. Overall in very good condition. Paired with a German EM Heer leather belt is made from brown leather with an aluminum belt hook stitched to one end. OLC in diamond stamped on hook. Faint markings stamped into leather on hook side. Name written in ink near end, faint and undecipherable. Leather is flexible. Leather belt dimensions: 1.75” wide x 38.25” long. See photos.
