Description
1) Two medals from WWI mounted on ribbon bar representing service in WWI. WWI German Iron Cross, 2nd class and Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918. Iron cross marked stamp on suspension ring. Honour Cross stamped “BH L” on back. Ribbons sewn onto leather core. No glow under UV light. Dimensions: 3.25”x2.75” 2) Prussian Iron Cross commemorative desk plaque/paperweight. The front of the iron cross read “FW” at the top, “W” in the center in the years “1813” on the left side “1870” on the right side and “1914” at the base of the cross. The back has several visible inscriptions. “Design 1914” at the top. “Ges. Gesch 1914.2” across the center, which translates to “legally protected” or “copyrighted”. The bottom arm has “K&Th” in cursive. Possibly a manufacturer. Piece is heavy and magnetic. Dimensions: 4.25”x4.25”x .5” See photos for condition.
