Framed miniature copy of original print titled: Prominent Union and Confederate generals and statesmen as they appeared during the great Civil War, 1861-5. A Kurz & Allison print from 1885, the image includes exactly what the title states. The print measures 12″ x8″. Below is a small cut signature measuring 2-3/4″ x1″. All that can be deciphered is “discharge is a ___________” Although this name is a mystery waiting to be solved, the other documents from the consigner were men of prominent stature and position [US Vice President, Gov of VA and a Union General], and are also in this auction.
