Description
Original CDV of Union General Joe Hooker “Major-General Joe Hooker” printed on back. Overall a nice image in near fine condition. Measures: 2-1/2” x 4”
Hooker is chiefly remembered for his decisive defeat by Confederate General Robert E. Lee at the Battle of Chancellorsville in 1863. He was also popularly known as “Fighting Joe” Hooker. This CDV was part of the Civil War and Indian War display at Donley’s Wild West Town Museum for 45 years.
