Description
This is a wonderful 1866 published Harper’s Weekly two volume history of the Civil War titled “Harper’s Pictorial History of the War of Rebellion”. It is leather bound and each volume is 11.5″ x 16″. It is over 800 pages of details, accounts and great illustrations. It has foldout color maps and many compelling stories about the war. The condition is fair plus with no missing or loose pages. Pages have yellowed somewhat over time. The leather binding is strong and straight with major wear to the cover corners. Volume I has 1.5″ of front cover breaking away. This is a must for any serious historian or interested amateur student of that tragic time in American history.
