Scarce Baraboo, WI- Ringling Bros. 50th Anniversary Scrip 5¢; 10¢; 15¢; 25¢; 50¢; $1 Nov. 1, (1933 Shafer WI100-.05a; .10a; .15a; .25a; .50a; 1a) In very good overall condition with no folds or pinholes. This complete set that is commonly collected with Depression era scrip. A Madison, Wisconsin newspaper article states this scrip was issued by the Baraboo Chamber of Commerce. Baraboo was the home of the Ringling Brothers for many years. A different Ringling brother (the five of the seven brothers who partnered to create the circus are pictured) will be found on the face of each fractional denomination, while the $1 pictures all five Ringling brothers in a jugate pose.
