Description
This attractive first style machine in its oak cabinet has its original finish in overall good condition with some minor wear here and there. Has all of its corner columns which are nicely in tact as well as the cabinet corners are nice and tight. As appropriate with a first style machine it has a pre-dog Victor ID tag. Has a Victor marked long throat concert reproducer in average condition with some minor wear. This machine is fitted with a desirable Victor oversized horn ensemble which consists of an original 20″ L wooden tone arm which has its original finish and hardware all of which are in good condition. Has its original cast iron lower support bracket with the addition of the oversized cast iron extension bracket both of which have their original nickel plating in average condition with the usual wear. Has its original winding crank and the motor winds and runs. Also included is one 10″ grand prize record and a reproduction record hold down. Has 27″ all brass long horn with 13″ diameter bell in average condition and lightly tarnished with a few dents and wrinkles here and there. See photos. The small end of the horn is fitted with a reproduction leather elbow. Cabinet measures 13′ X 13″ X 6″ T. A first style machine such as this with an oversized horn ensemble is not often seen and a welcome addition to any collection.
