Description
This machine in its elaborate first style oak cabinet has its original finish and decal however it has been recoated and presents well. Has an original Columbia mark long throat reproducer. Has its original Columbia mark tone arm however has evidence of having been broken and repaired with an addition of a steel reinforcing spline having been added to the underside. Note that tone arm is bowed. Has a reproduction horn cradle and pivot.. See photos. Has its original slotted winding crank, steel turntable, and leather elbow. This first style top wind motor winds and runs. Has its original 14-1/2″ long black and brass horn with a 9-1/2″ diameter brass bell. The original black paint is in good condition with some minor scrapes with some paper residue on the inside of the body. The brass bell has several dents and wrinkles. See photos. Cabinet measures 11″ X 11″ X 4-1/4″ T.
