Description
This machine with its oak cabinet has its original finish in overall good condition. The front of the cabinet has 4 holes drilled which was most likely for a horn support. In addition there are shrinkage cracks on the front, left side and base board. Has its original accessory drawer which contains some sort of a stamped metal tool. This machine is missing its top cover. Has an automatic reproducer with a good stylus. Carriage and mandrill move freely, The mandrill is tarnished and has peeling plating. The upper mech and bed plate have their original black paint which is well worn with some peeling and rust in fair condition. Both metal tags that are attached to the upper mech and bed plate are present with the nickel plating having been worn through and are showing brass. Has a desirable original square drive cast iron winding crank with the National Phonograph metal tag attached.. The motor winds and runs. Also included is an original folding floor horn crane support which has its original black paint with peeling paint and rust. See photos. Also included is an original 32-1/2″ L steel cone shaped horn which is 12″ diameter at the large end. . Has its large original hanging bale. One of the brass rivets is pulled loose on one of the brass bale mounts. See photos. Has its original black paint with a few minor scrapes and dings and is in otherwise good condition. Cabinet measures 16-1/2″ X 10-1/2″ X 7″ T.
