This one of a kind “jobbers” horn case accommodates the 43″ long all brass phonograph horn in Lot #1035. It would make it easier for the Victor company employee “jobber” to carry the brass horn from job to job, whether used for a barn dance. tent revival or political rally.
The unusual transit case is made of tin plated steel, the outside of case has blue paint in fair condition as well as a carrying handle, inside of the case is tin plated, rather clean and at one time would have had a fitted hinged steel cover at the large end which is missing, has a few dents and wrinkles, but is in overall good condition. Measures 46″ long and 20″ diameter at the large end.
