Description
This rather unusual Zonophone with its ribbed oak cabinet has been stripped and refinished and is in overall good condition and presents well. Is missing its reproducer. Has its original oversize tone arm and decorative lower support bracket with its original nickel plating in good condition but it is missing its wire horn support cradle. The cast iron bedplate has its original speed control and brake. Has its original cast iron turntable and has its spring loaded locating pin. . Is missing its winding crank and motor winds and runs. Has its original 29-1/2″ long black and brass horn and elbow with a 13-1/2″ diameter brass bell. Body of the horn has its original black paint however has several dents and some rust. The brass bell has a few minor dents and wrinkles but is in otherwise good condition. Cabinet measures 9-3/4″ W X 8-1/2″ D X 6″ H. From the Jeff Young Collection.
