Description
Vintage Straight Razor by J. R. Torrey Razor Co. Has translucent yellow, white-swirl scales. The face does have some kind of scroll-like imagery, tarnish makes it hard to distinguish. Tang reads “J. R. Torrey Co. US Worcester, Mass.”, and reverse is blank, and tang has a pearl-like finish from beginning of tang to tail. Has a French point blade, which is in overall really condition, however, has heavy tarnish, but can be cleaned nicely. Original leather case IS included, reads “Charles Adam, Cutler & Grinder” on bottom, with red fabric interior that reads “J. R. Torrey Razor Co Worcester Mass” in gold lettering on top half. Case is in fair-to-good condition for its age and exhibits light scratches, and chips in finish, and latch does not hold it closed. See photos and bid accordingly.
