Scarce 1956-1957 Chevrolet Kiddie Corvette pedal car. In very good to good overall condition with some cosmetic imperfections associated with age and wear including minor discoloration spots, scuffs & light scratches noticeable under closer examination. Specifically scuffs on drivers side door, corvette graphics starting to peel near the edges, windshield good with s few marks along with a few drill holes near truck in addition to a chip off front bumper primarily located toward the under carriage. Showcases white body perfectly accented with red steering wheel & seat with black and chrome accents. The car was commissioned by General Motors and produced by the Eska Company in Dubuque, Iowa in a limited number. The cars were given to a number of dealerships, and children could also register to win one at NASCAR Speed Week in Daytona Beach in 1956. While people have since created replicas in a variety of colors and designs and other models of kiddie cars were produced, the original ’56 Corvette Kiddie pedal was only available in white with the red interior, chrome trim, and included a 2-speed transmission and floor shifter.
