Description
This is the classic Civil war Union canteen with brown cotton cover and canvas cotton shoulder strap. The spout is maker marked on spout, “J.H. PHILA” for Hadden, Booth & Porter but it somewhat hard to read if you don’t know the maker. It cork stopper is in tact but in two pieces and has chain.
