Description
This is a 3 Civil War Union tintype lot which includes: 1. a 1/9 plate tintype of a Union soldier holding a revolver across his chest mounted in a typical leatherette case with detached cover. Image has heavy flaking. 2. 1/9 plate tintype of a seated enlisted man wearing a shell jacket and kepi in good condition in a typical leatherette case. 3. A 1/9 plate tintype of a Union artillery officer in shell jacket wearing a pork pie slouch hat. Cannons on hat and jacket buttons have been embellished in gold. Mounted with a patriotic oval matte with flags, cannon, and drum in a thermo plastic “flower basket” Union case in VG condition with just a couple of minor edge chips and good hinges.
