Description
This Union Hardee hat has gone thought a transition since it was last up for auction in 2008. It is in very good condition but the leatherette (paper) liner has separated from the hat and the “6” badge that was pinned in the middle of the bugle badge has been removed and the prong holes remain. There is a white wax pencil mark that was hiding under the sweatband. The stiff black felt body is strong with some areas of crazing on parts of the outside brim. The blue hat cord shows much uneven fading which is so typical for hat cords and sashes
