Large circa 1900 mahogany Empire style buffet or sideboard made by the Tobey Furniture Co. of Chicago Illinois. Tobey was one of the leading high end furniture makers in the U.S. in business from 1856 to 1954. Solid mahogany construction features a base with 6 drawers (4 locking) and 4 large doors for storage. The upper section is mirror backed with heavily carved ends and pediment over a top shelf. Good original finish with a few heavy scratches on the top. A great piece for a home back bar. Measures 8′ wide, 6′-4″ tall, 26″ deep.
