*NO SHIPPING – PICKUP OR THIRD PARTY TRANSPORT ONLY* Tall case musical clock made by Thomas Pott of London in the style of Louis XV circa 1780’s. Weight driven mechanism in a burl walnut veneer case. Bonnet has gilded columns supporting a pediment topped with 3 spherical finials. The middle finial is missing. The face has roman numeral hours and Arabic minutes and seconds. The clock strikes on the hour and plays a tune with bells. There are seven different tunes and the tune changes each day. The condition is good for its age. The mechanism has been serviced and it runs well. Overall measures 97" tall, 20.5" wide, 10.375" deep. PROVENANCE: From the estate of the late comedian Joan Rivers.
