Description

*NO SHIPPING – PICKUP OR THIRD PARTY TRANSPORT ONLY* Very early first model Victrola called the VTLA with a cabinet made by the Pooley Furniture Co. of Philadelphia PA, serial No. 1197. The introduction of the Victrola in 1906 spelled the end of the outside horn phonograph era. The solid mahogany cabinet is distinguished by it’s tall flat top. This is an early production machine with the hidden pull out needle drawer above the speaker doors which was eliminated very early on. The mahogany cabinet has an older but well done refinishing. The gold tone parts and Exhibition reproducer are in good condition. There are no record albums. Measures 47" tall, 20" wide, 22" deep.
