Description
Antique Heinz 57 Litho Biscuit Tin Box, litho photo of the Pittsburgh plant on inside lid, shows wear and age, 11" x 8" x 8". Did you know that they began in 1890, and by 1896, HJ Heinz was on a train to New York and saw an advertising sign for 21 styles of shoes. He got to thinking that he would use a similar slogan for his company. He decided to boat 57 varieties because his lucky number was 5 and his wife’s was 7. The rest is history.
