Description
Marketed as the Penguin Ball Gum Vendor it features an Oak Mfg 1 cent gumball machine modified to fit into a wood pinball game base with a football theme.When the coin is inserted and the gumball is vended it rolls down a chute the a spring loaded plunger that the customer then shoots to the playfield. When the gumball falls into a score hole it is then returned to the customer. It was just a gimmick to sell more gumballs. Made by the Penguin Mfg. Co. of Green Bay Wisc. Nothing more is known about this company and was probably a short lived item for the local market. In overall good condition. The top lock is present and open but there is no key. Measures 9" wide, 20.5" deep, 18" tall. This lot also comes with a NOS punchboard titled Gem Topper and includes the original paper work that lays out the profit structure.
