Beautiful Display Honoring The WWII Veterans!
1941 WWII US Army Colt 1911A1 45acp Pistol in excellent professionally restored condition. The barrel has “S” “P” on lug and has an excellent lug, the slide has a square rear sight with a circular notch, there is a “P” in front of it and a “PN” on the underside. The frame has “WB” in a rectangle and a “P” by the mag release on the left side, “UNITED STATES PRODERTY M1911A1 U.S.ARMY” AND No755844 ON THE RIGHT SIDE,”H “G” on the top side. Very nice plastic grips. MFG 1941 C&R Eligible S/N:755844.
The display is housed in a custom made locking fitted oak case with glass top and includes:
-the above mentioned Colt pistol
-brown leather holster stamped US on the flap made by Boyt -42- in VG+ condition
-OD web belt marked R.M.C.O. 1941 with magazine pouch snap button in VG+ condition
-OD canvas .45 2 magazine pouch marked Hoff Mfg. Co. 1942with 2 magazines (one two tone) in VG condition. This pouch attaches to the snap on the web belt.
-box of 20 .45 cartridges made by Western Cartridge Co.
-7 loose W.C.C. .45 cartridges
-Parkerized steel cleaning rod
-steel combo tool
-U.S. M3 fighting knife marked Camillus in VG+ condition
-sterling U.S. Army Combat Infantry Badge in VG condition.
-insignia including U.S. Army 3rd Inf. Div. shoulder patch, Infantry collar DI’s, and a heavy brass Army cap shield.1`
This display is professionally made and shows well. Measures 24″ wide, 18″ tall, 4.5″ deep.
