Serial number 116189 – Interchangeable, 9"x 2.75" cylinder music box with 4 six-tune cylinders. Includes a copy of original catalog listing all 24 tunes. In need of restoration and plays a little off-tune. Cabinet has its original finish. Top cover has floral inlay with several nicks and scratches as well as veneer damage. Lower cabinet has inlay border on front. Large decorative handles as well as original faux graining. Shrinkage crack in rear of cabinet. The six-tune mechanism winds, runs, and plays. Several broken cone teeth. Appears to be original and not serviced. Has zither attachment. Crude homemade winding crank. Also included is fitted oak box for the storage of accessory interchangeable cylinders. The box has capacity for 4 cylinders. The 3 cylinders in storage and one on the music box. All in average condition. Original oak finish on storage box. Well worn and dirty with a few nicks and scratches as well as a shrinkage crack in the top. Should restore nicely. See photos.
